About Us

OUR VISION

We envision a world where every child — regardless of their starting point — has access to the right support, at the right time, to unlock their full potential. At Assess, we believe education should be not only inclusive but truly empowering, equipping all learners with the resilience, confidence, and self-belief they need to succeed in life and learning.

OUR MISSION

At Assess, our mission is to provide high-quality, inclusive, and emotionally supportive interventions that empower students with SEND to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to closing learning gaps, building confidence, and fostering independence through evidence-based strategies tailored to each learner’s unique needs. Our approach is rooted in understanding, adaptability, and a deep belief in every child’s potential to succeed.

Our Proactive Approach

Our provision aligns with and anticipates government guidance on inclusive education, trauma-
informed practice, and the SEND Code of Practice. Key features include:

Personalised Learning Plans: Tailored curricula designed to meet each student’s academic level, interests, and EHCP targets. Learning is carefully scaffolded and paced to reduce barriers and build confidence.
Multi-Disciplinary Awareness: Staff trained in trauma-informed approaches, emotional regulation, and SEND interventions, following DfE guidance on whole-child and therapeutic strategies.
Interest-Led, Flexible Curriculum: Sessions incorporate student interests—such as gaming, creative arts, and career goals—to boost motivation while embedding core skills in English, Maths, Science, and PSHE.
Safe, Nurturing Spaces: Delivered in low-stress, small-group settings that provide consistency, routine, and predictability, meeting psychological safety needs outlined in national guidance.
Skills for Life and Beyond: Emphasising communication, independence, and problem-solving to foster academic progress alongside life-readiness, supporting national priorities of employability, resilience, and social inclusion.
